Orders are issued together with each waypoint you designate for the unit. Using the right order in the right situation is integral to success.

Orders[edit | edit source]

Advance[edit | edit source]

'ADVANCE' is the standard movement order.

You can plan ahead by adding 'disabled' waypoints. That can be done by holding down the 'Ctrl' key when adding waypoints. The disabled waypoints have a red symbol. Later, when you want the unit to execute the plan, hold down the 'Ctrl' key again and click on the waypoint to activate it.

Scout[edit | edit source]

The 'SCOUT' waypoints make the units advance more cautiously.

Vehicles can pop smoke and move out of LOS when they detect an enemy.

Fast[edit | edit source]

A unit with the 'FAST' waypoint moves with increased speed.

Rotate[edit | edit source]

The 'ROTATE' waypoint makes the unit face the direction.

Reverse[edit | edit source]

The 'REVERSE' waypoint makes the unit move backwards if possible.

Contact[edit | edit source]

Units with the 'CONTACT' waypoint stop when they meet hostile units.

Defend[edit | edit source]

The 'DEFEND' waypoint makes the unit find a battle position and watch the given direction.

Unload[edit | edit source]

If the 'UNLOAD' waypoint is given then the unit advances to the waypoint and unloads its passengers when in the destination.

Infiltrate[edit | edit source]

Foot recon formations can try to infiltrate the enemy setup zone.

The chance for success depends on the enemy area depth and the recon unit training level. If a hostile unit has a LOS to the target location then the attempt fails. That's why low visibility and closed terrain (for example urban areas and forest) may be better targets than open terrain.

Place[edit | edit source]

In the setup phase you can place the units to locations inside the setup zone, unless the scenario designer has locked their positions.

The hotkey for placing units is 'Spacebar'.

Recon units can be placed in the 'no man's land' between the main setup zones.
